MY CREED

I believe in a divine creator

~ A parent God ~

Who is called by many names

Abba, Lord, Jehovah, Yahweh;

Who gave humankind the gift of the Earth

to nurture and care for.

A God of sunshine and thunder ~

of raindrops and sunsets ~

of snow and sand.

I believe in the Mother God,

who's rhythm of life

is manifest in nature.

I believe in a Messiah

~ who came to this Earth in the form of

 Jesus Christ~

A child who became a refugee;

A boy who played with toys and did chores;

A teacher, a man and a person with a purpose in life.

Whose message was to reveal that

God's Kingdom is here on Earth.

An ordinary day man,

with an extra-ordinary message,

that has endured the ages.

I believe in the gift of the Holy Spirit

~ a comforter, and friend ~

who is with us on this part of our journey.

I believe in the gift of Wisdom

Who can be embraced by us all.

She journeys with us towards

 our acceptance of each other.

I believe in declaring Peace where found.

I believe in goodness found within.

I believe in, and know Love.

I believe and have experienced forgiveness.

I believe in miracles

and unconditional love without judgement or exceptions.

I believe in the hope of peace.

I believe in God.
